We were very pleased to welcome back one of our popular "Stanway Rovers Live Acts" on Saturday evening, 23rd March.
This time, back for another live gig, was the popular local band "Broken Watch". Formed at Colbayns High School, Clacton, Broken Watch performed their first live gig on 23rd September 2003. Since then they have performed over 90 gigs, mainly in Essex and Suffolk, but with some gigs further afield. They have even played at The Cavern Club, Liverpool (home of the 1960's world famous English Rock Band, The Beatles).
They have performed for us several times at Stanway Rovers Football Club and, once again, they did not disappoint, as they treated us to an evening of 'Rock and Pop Classics from the 60s to 00s' with songs by bands such as The Beatles, Bryan Adams, The Police, Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Pulp, Queen and Coldplay.
