Charity Northern Bingo & Prize Raffle Raises Large Amount For St Helena Hospice

Friday 20th February, 2026 saw us holding our third "Northern Bingo" fundraising event.

Dave Winnard arranged this event:

• in memory of his late wife, Penny Lorimer Winnard

• to raise money for St Helena Hospice

and this event is quickly becoming a very popular event in the Stanway Rovers social calendar.

Dave, and everyone here at the club, would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that attended, and to everyone that donated raffle prizes.

Very Good Crowd at "Northern Bingo"

Our Fantastic Bingo Caller

We raised £400 from the Bingo and £210 from raffle ticket sales.

That means St Helena Hospice will receive a fantastic £610 as a result of the generosity of everyone at Stanway Rovers and the hard fundraising work of Dave Winnard..
