SOCCABILITY FOOTBALL
Soccability Football
Stanway Rovers are committed to making football as inclusive as possible by providing access to groups that provide training sessions for varying abilities. At present, we are partnered with Ability Using Sport (AUS) which operates a Junior and Youth training session for under 16's with Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties and Special Educational Needs.

We are now looking to engage with the Colchester community and reach out to over 16's who have Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties or Physical Difficulties, who are unable to train with mainstream football clubs, and would like to participate in weekly training sessions with an experienced coach who has worked with disability teams for many years.

This is an initiative that we are piloting this year and we are hoping that we have enough interest to create a new Stanway Rovers team for adults with mixed abilities who are excluded from, or unable to play at, Grassroots level.

Please email Sharon at stanwayroversbookings@gmail.com to register your interest or to obtain further information.
SAFEGUARDING ADULTS POLICY
We acknowledge that every adult with a disability who plays or participates in football should be able to take part in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from poor practice and abuse. Stanway Rovers Football Club recognises that this is the responsibility of every adult involved in our club.
Kirstin Green is our Welfare Officer, responsible for all our safeguarding.

If you have any concerns regarding the treatment of any vulnerable person here at Stanway Rovers, then do not hesitate to contact Kirstin who will treat all initial contact with her in strictest confidence.
