Results for all our Stanway Rovers teams - since our last football weekly update (on 10th February, 2024):

First:

  • 15/02/25 @ 14:00 - Benfleet FC P:P Stanway Rovers Community FC (League) match postponed, waterlogged pitch

  • This postponement means our First team run of unbeaten league matches is unchanged, stands at 25, consisting of 19 wins and six draws.

    • Our First team play in the Essex Senior Football League

  • With 63 points from 26 matches and a GD of +49, our first team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (20 teams in the league)

U23's:

  • 15/02/25 @ 15:00 - Stanway Rovers U23 6-0 Holland U23 (League)

    • This fantastic home win against 11th placed Holland sees our U23 team climb one place, to 6th position, in the U23 South Division of the Thurlow Nunn League. Our goal difference of +12 is the 2nd best in the league, with top placed Hadleigh United U23 being the only team with a better goal difference than us - they have +22

  • With 20 points from 14 matches and a GD of +12, our U23 are 6th (last week = 7th) in the league (12 teams in the league)

U18's:

  • 13/02/25 @ 19:45 - Holland U18 P:P Stanway Rovers U18 (League)

  • This postponement sees our U18 team maintain their position at the top of their league, and our run of 13 unbeaten league matches remains unchanged, consisting of 12 wins and one draw.

  • Our goal difference of +62 is the best in the league, with 3rd placed FC Clacton Y18 holding the 2nd best goal difference, with +17

  • Our U18 team remain 1st in the South Division of the Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League

  • With 37 points from 13 matches and a GD of +62, our U18 team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (9 teams in the league)

Ladies First:

  • 16/02/25 @ 14:00 - Stanway Rovers Ladies FC First Team 0:1 Corringham Cosmos Women FC (League)

  • This results sees our Ladies First team remain at 9th position in Division 1 of the Essex County Women's Football League

  • With 10 points from 12 matches and a GD of -9, our Ladies First team are currently 9th (last week = 9th) in the league (11 teams in the league)
