After spending pre-season on trial with other clubs, George has made the decision to return to Stanway—where he played a vital role during the 2024/25 season.

🗣️ “This team is going places, and I’ll be here to help every bit that I can… job’s not finished,” George said after confirming his return.

George was a key figure in last season’s squad, contributing an impressive 26 goals in all competitions and being named Supporters’ Player of the Season. At just 22 years old, he has already shown maturity and consistency beyond his years, proving himself as one of the most dangerous attacking players in the side.

His return is a major boost for the club as we prepare for the challenges of Step 4 football. George’s energy, directness, and eye for goal will be crucial as we look to compete and build on the momentum from last season’s success.

Throughout the 2024/25 campaign, George led by example in the final third—whether making intelligent runs off the ball, pressing defenders, or producing big moments in front of goal. His presence on and off the pitch played a big part in helping the team reach new heights.
