Fantastic turn out for the U23 and U18 fund raising race night last night. Thank you to everyone that worked so hard to prepare for it, for all the bar staff who were kept busy throughout, and for everyone that came along and took part.

Tolleshunt D’Arcy Memorial Trophy Quarter Final The first team line-up featured lots of U23 & 18s talent. It was a disappointing end to the game after the Rovers were in control for so long, with the team conceding 2 sloppy goals. On the bright side a very young squad played well against a Step 4 team. The futures bright. We go again. Keane Tansey nailed down the Topman award with a fantastic display all round and an excellent contribution for the goal.

Stanway Rovers are very pleased to announce their three new "Walking Football" teams, sponsored by Total Car Parks and ABL Doors. Walking Football is primarily for the over 50s, and is played at a slightly slower pace, to have fun, make new friends and above all, keep fit. The basic WF rules are : no running, maximum 3 touches, no heading the ball, ball must be kept below head height & no contact. Training takes place on Monday evenings at Stanway School, between 6:30 and 7:30pm. ​ Anyone age 45+ is welcome to come along and give it a try.
