Stanway Rovers are delighted to announce that manager Jamie Shaw has agreed to remain with the club with his contract being extended for a further year.

Vice Chairman Jerry Carter said "Jamie has totally transformed the club's fortunes in his first season here when he took us from ‘bottom of the league’ to just one place off the playoffs, and won both league cups.

"This last season he won us the championship outright with automatic promotion to Step Four of the NLS (Isthmian League North ). This is the highest ever level that Rovers have competed in their long history.

"It is only natural he should be rewarded with the opportunity to keep the squad together for the challenge ahead."

Jamie Shaw said "I’m delighted to continue this journey alongside my assistant Alex Drennan at our local club, where we will continue to work tirelessly to keep improving and make more memories.

"Thank you especially to Jerry Carter, Steve Blake and Andy Partner and to the whole committee for continuing to show their trust in me."
