Stanway Rovers Football Club are excited to announce our exciting new partnership with U.S Sports Scholarships.
Our Chairman, Dave Jones stated: “We are very excited to partner up with U.S Sports Scholarships as this gives our players an amazing opportunity to continue to play the sport they love whilst travelling and continuing their education. Long term development of our players is part of our commitment as a Community Club and we relish any opportunity to be able to help enrich the lives of the boys and girls that play for us. Travelling the world, playing football, making great friends, and amazing memories whilst gaining an education – who wouldn’t be proud of being part of helping make that possible.”
As part of the partnership, we will be holding future trial events for both men’s and women’s soccer at the club. U.S Sports Scholarships will be confirming dates for their first event at the club very soon so stay tuned in order to secure your place.
Head of Women’s Soccer Ellie Mitchell at U.S Sports Scholarships said the following regarding the partnership: “Stanway is a club I know very well having spent some time coaching there in the past. All my experiences with the club and its staff having been nothing short of excellent and we’re delighted to be able to finally announce the partnership officially. The club has some exciting and ambitious plans for both its men’s and women’s programmes from the youth teams right up to first team level and we are all excited to be working with them and their talented athletes. Stanway works with some of the best young athletes in the region and we’re excited to work with many of them in the next stages of their career in becoming future US college soccer stars. We would also like to thank Leo and Frank for their efforts in helping bring our two organisations together.”
